Last year, one of our favorite things was visiting the National Christmas Tree, located in the Ellipse behind the White House, so we had to go again this year!
Riding the Metro never gets old (for the kids)!
We found Santa's list of who has been naughty & nice. To our satisfaction, we found that Erin was on the nice list - with a double check mark! We assume this means she was extra good this year...of course.
To our dismay, we learned that Isaac was on the naughty list. Uh oh. I'm curious what Santa expects out of two year old boys though!
The National Christmas Tree
It's always fun to walk around the tree and see all the trees from each state (and find the tree of the state they were each born in)
And as always, Isaac couldn't get enough of the trains at the base of the tree

I love DC during the holidays. With the beautiful, Classic architecture, and the tasteful decorations throughout the city, it is breathtaking. This is the Willard Hotel, a beautiful, old Hotel. It looks beautiful at Christmas time with all the lights and decoration out front.
