For Elaina's birthday we went to see a movie in the morning, and then headed downtown for some outdoor fun!
We stopped at Georgetown cupcakes first for a birthday treat and went to Waterfront Park along the Potomac for some play time!

Waterfront Park is awesome! It was a bit overcast that day, but the kids had a blast. This splash pad area is right up next to the river, so it's pretty and fun, and in a great neighborhood to stroll through afterward

Her neighborhood friends came over for cake and ice cream and presents that night.
